Planet

Dathim 4, is one of the ?thousand? moons of the planet Iego. Of all the planets in the galaxy, Iego is said to be among the most mysterious; it?s out of the way, there?s nearly no map that can take you there, and only the most space-worthy of vessels can make the journey. The only time outsiders even see the planet is while taking a shortcut through the outer-rim. While Iego in and of itself is a perilous journey that only the most hardened pilots can traverse; the voyage to Dathim is even more so.

There are no suns in this cluster of planets and moons, only the warm glow of solar gasses light the way. Rich clouds of gas distract pilots and make them lose their path to the fabled Dathim. For most, the moon is nothing but myth. Spacers, and old dogs tell the stories at any tavern if you only sit and listen, about a moon that thousands of ships have been destroyed before they even enter the atmosphere. A planet that?s covered with lush forest, rare minerals, and angels. They describe these people as emitting a faint light, with heavenly wings, and slim figures. But then again, almost no one has ever actually made it to Dathim 4, let alone off the rock.
Most charts don?t even have Iego on the map, and of those maps, none have the moon Dathim. The astrological community as a whole is sure the moon doesn?t exist. Yet for some reason it?ll come calling to those who are chosen by the force.

Terrain

The Terrain of Dathim 4 is that of a lush and tropical environment. Giant forests cover the lands, peppered only by large mountains, and beautiful waterfalls. It is an environment that?s livable to almost every species of the Council Planets, while it has breathable air, and drinkable water, it also has a gravitational force less than that of Coruscant, meaning that beings from within that range will have a bonus of quicker movement, improved strength, and feel exhausted less easily. The jungles are much like those found in any tropical location. They have high humidity, a large selection of edible food, and plenty of local creatures devoid of much intelligence? there will be ample supplies of food here. Most of the grounds will be covered in plants of some kind, but tall trees and large forests make it impossible to actually mount any kind of armored vehicle here. On foot is the only way to move through these trees.

Life Forms

There are rumors here that angels live on this planet. Some speak of their otherworldly intelligence and connection with the force. They are said to be the most beautiful creatures in existence. But these are just rumors..

There are plenty of indications that some species once lived here. Ruins litter the woods, structures made of (in the council controlled planets eyes) rare or non-existing materials, ore and stone that would sell for millions of credits for a single gram. Every stone stepped on is potentially worth hundreds of credits, for all intents and purposes this planet might as well be one giant floating coin. Yet there are statues, or parts of statues in these forests. It might almost seem foreboding. For most, the only life forms they will witness are the little critters that maintain the ecosystem. As this is a tropical environment, there are all kinds of birds, and bugs. Fish too, are in abundance.

How the hell do I get there?

Being an out of the way bit of land, most people might find themselves stranded on Dathim if they took a shortcut through the outer rim. Smugglers use this run to avoid the military, and the military sometimes prowls close to the cluster of Iego in order to catch smugglers, or to take a shortcut themselves. There is a nice vacation planet in a system not too far from Iego, and sometimes stubborn captains of pleasure vessels find themselves biting off more than they can chew? and adding to the junkyard of ships right outside of Dathim. The possibilities of landing on this rock are endless, so use your imagination.
