The Startup Business Group (SBG) is a unique group at Microsoft focused on advanced technology. Our mission is to drive new business value for Microsoft by identifying new business and technology opportunities, building new products, and taking them to market successfully. We are working with depth sensors and video cameras taking multiple stereo vision cameras (and other modern technology) to create new and innovative technologies leveraging computer vision. In collaboration with Microsoft Research (MSR) we have validated a unique core technology, and are currently refining that technology as we look to develop one or more disruptive products. We?re looking for talented Computer Vision developers who are interested in early-stage product development. Ideal candidates are highly motivated people that excel in entrepreneurial environments, and should be comfortable with most aspects of computer vision, including: multi-view geometry, feature detection, segmentation, object recognition, image processing, and image-based rendering. Requirements:
- MS degree in CS or equivalent, PhD a plus - 2 years Computer Vision experience - Outstanding C++ coding skills - Solid math and statistics background - Good communication skills
